    Helpdesk support technician

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to assist us in our IT support team.

    We are looking for a person who respects and cares for others, has a fun outgoing personality, is a problem solver, a team player and is both adaptable and approachable.

    You will also have a keen interest in technology and a desire to learn new skills and systems.

    We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, you will need to have a valid drivers license as you will be visiting sites throughout the week.

    What will you be doing?

    • Responding to inbound service and support related inquiries by phone and email.
    • Visiting our customers to install new equipment and troubleshoot issues.
    • Solving first and second level IT problems for our customers.
    • Creating and maintaining information within the organisations document management system
    • Working in a team so the business can provide fantastic customer service.
    • You will be involved in interesting project work rolling out new technology.

    What experience and skills are desirable for you have?

    • Relevant TAFE / Tertiary studies in ICT or studying towards, or relevant work experience in the ICT industry.
    • Retail and/or Commercial experience in service-based roles.
    • A problem-solving approach to both individual and team tasks
    • Ability to effectively time manage and prioritize tasks
    • Ability to proactively contribute within the team
    • Be willing to work independently
    • Willingness to work shifts between the business hours of 8am to 6pm
    • Willingness to work overtime when required to get the job done.
    • Experience with working in an environment using an incident management tool.
    • A working knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS
    • Experience with Windows and MacOS Operating systems
